Some of the more difficult shift changes to manage are swaps between nurses. The Nursegrid web and mobile app make it simple for nurses to find others available to swap with. They do all of the leg work to make sure that swaps work for them. Once they come to an agreement, that swap proposal lands in Nursegrid manager as a pending request.
To view and approve a swap request, click the Requests button on the left-side toolbar, then click Swaps in the sub-menu. You’ll see all current swaps there. Select the swap that you’d like to review. From there, you can approve or deny the swap, or message both parties involved if you need more details. All three of these actions will immediately alert these nurses on their phone if they are using the Nursegrid Mobile app. Changes will also instantly appear on your Nursegrid Manager dashboard.
