Registered Nurse Surgical Care (apply here)

Shift: Days

Location: Saint Joseph Hospital, Denver

Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice, and coordination of care with other health team members.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval. (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service.)

 

Registered Nurse Acute Care (apply here)

Shift: Days

Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora

Overview: Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited or state board approved School of Nursing.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
  • Minimum of 6 months nursing (RN) experience.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

 

Nurse Navigator (apply here)

Shift: Days

Location: Infectious Disease, UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora

Overview: Serves as a patient advocate, liaison, and advisor/educator to assist patients with navigating the continuum of care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years’ experience.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

 

Registered Nurse Medical Office (apply here)

Shift: Days

Location: Cherry Creek Medical Center: Orthopedics, Denver

Overview: Provides direct patient care, in a medical/physician office setting, using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years’ experience.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level.
  • Minimum of 6 months nursing experience.

Infusion Registered Nurse (apply here)

Shift: Days

Location: Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center

Overview: The Adult Infusion Center RN oversees and directs the care of the patient with hematologic/oncologic diagnosis receiving care in the outpatient setting. The Adult Infusion Center RN is responsible for the care of medical and surgical patients. Serves as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
  • BLS – Healthcare provider. ONS chemotherapy provider card required within the first 9 months of hire.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • One year experience in acute care or infusion center
