Congratulations to Matt Guy! Winner of the Nursegrid Raffle.

The results are in, and many different nurses were able to earn great prizes for referring their friends to Nursegrid. All these individuals were eligible in the drawing for a $750 gift card to an airline of their choice, and Matt is the lucky recipient!

Matt Guy is a Registered Nurse and Paramedic and, over the course of 10 years, has garnered experience in nursing homes, critical care, emergency care, ground and air medical transport. Matt has previously served as a charge nurse, and most recently was the chief flight nurse for the only charity air ambulance in the United States. There, he led a diverse team of registered nurses, paramedics and respiratory therapists.

Matt also guest lectures to several hundred nursing students in an academic setting. Currently, Matt works with people to help them achieve their dreams and higher purposes. He is a servant leader and very passionate about helping people create a life of ambition and vocation.

“I am very excited for Nursegrid!” says Matt.

“I am excited for a solution to connect with colleagues via Nursegrid thereby allowing nurses to have more control over their work schedules. I believe Nursegrid will help many nurse have a better work-life balance and will help nurses work when it is best for them so that they can focus on the priorities in life such as family.”

This is not the first giveaway Nursegrid has done. Earlier this Summer, we gave away a Fitbit Flex, and want to continue giving back to the nurse community we love.

“The Nursegrid community has given us so much support as we have launched Nursegrid for Web and prepare to launch the Mobile App,” says director of marketing and registered nurse Zach Smith (@zachthenurse). “Giving back to the nurse community is what Nursegrid is all about, and that’s why the Nursegrid App is free. We want to make this an integral part of the community we are creating on the app.”

Thank you to everyone who referred their fellow nurses to Nursegrid. We are just moments away from the app’s release, so stay tuned and be the first to experience nurse scheduling for the 21st century.
