It’s Been a Long Time Coming… the App Launch Is Finally Here!
On February 4 we celebrated the public Nursegrid app launch with our friends and colleagues in Portland. We couldn’t be more thankful for the support that we received. The event was packed throughout the evening with many friendly faces finding time to stop by.
In attendance were several of our current investors from TiE Oregon and Portland Seed Fund, our friends from PNDLM, and several clinicians from the local healthcare systems, Legacy and Providence. Several of our existing users were in the crowd, and they shared with us some early success they’d had managing their personal schedule with Nursegrid.
The app launch party was preceded with an update to our current (and potential) investors. We have the pleasure of sharing our stellar results – over 1,000 nurses had downloaded the application in the first few days and entered nearly 10,000 shifts. This was far beyond our expectations, and we hope to continue building on this early momentum.
